RYA Recognition
All of our UK and overseas watersports centres are RYA (Royal Yachting Association) recognised training centres for sailing, windsurfing and powerboat activities. This recognition is subject to satisfactory completion of an annual inspection of safety management systems, quality of equipment, facilities and standards of tuition
Adventure Activities Licence (AALA)
Rockley Watersports LTD holds an Adventure Activities Licence for the provision of 'scheduled' activities as required by the:
- Activity Centres (Young Persons' Safety) Act 1995,
- Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 1996, and the subsequent ammendments to that act.
- Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 2004.
Health and Safety Management
We always comply with and very often exceed all statutory UK and local Health and Safety requirements and can provide group leaders and administrative bodies with the necessary documentation to assist with your trips approval process.
Local Authority Approval
Our schools team have a thorough understanding of 'good practice' in terms of organising school trips and the requirements of either the local authority outdoor education department or your schools governing body approval processes. They can provide help and advice for group leaders as well as give access to our online booking organiser designed to guide you through the process from beginning to end.
