Learning Through Adventure
Despite being great fun, the educational benefits of outdoor and adventurous activities are much more far-reaching than that. A Rockley adventure trip provides the ideal environment in which to develop important life skills.
For many young people, their trip to a Rockley Adventure centre is their first prolonged period of time spent away from home and despite our close supervision and support there is a necessity for young people to develop a sense of self reliance.
It is extremely common for group leaders visiting our centres to see a visible improvement in students levels of self confidence and awareness of personal strengths that may have been hidden in the traditional school environment.
Rockley Adventure are pleased to support the governments renewed interest in the value of outdoor and adventurous activity experiences as part of a ballanced school curriculum.
