As well as being great fun, the educational benefits of outdoor and adventurous activities are much more far-reaching than simply having a great time. A Rockley Adventure trip provides the ideal environment in which to develop important life skills.

Develop

For many young people, their trip to a Rockley Adventure centre is their first prolonged period of time spent away from home and, although our Rockley team provide close supervision and support, there is also the opportunity for young people to develop self reliance and achieve increased independence.

Improve

It is extremely common for group leaders visiting our centres to see a visible improvement in the levels of self confidence of pupils and an awareness of personal strengths that may have been hidden in the traditional school environment.

Learning Outside the Classroom

Rockley Adventure are pleased to support the government's renewed interest in the value of outdoor and adventurous activity experiences as part of a balanced school curriculum.
