Insurance

The cost of our overseas trips includes travel insurance cover for all members of the group (except anyone normally resident outside the UK). Our travel insurance is an annual policy which covers all of our school and group trips within the period 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010 inclusively.

Groups do have the option to withdraw from this policy at the point of booking, however we will require evidence that the intended insurance policy offers at least the same level of insurance as is offered by our own inclusive policy.

Policy Details

Our travel insurance is arranged by Fogg Travel Insurance Services Limited, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and whose FSA registered number is 307304. This can be checked at

This insurance is underwritten by Union Reiseversicherung AG, UK Branch and who are authorised in Germany by BaFin and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Medical Conditions

If your child has a pre-existing medical condition they can still be covered by the policy, although any claim resulting from a pre-existing medical condition is likely to be excluded.  Excluded pre-existing medical conditions are, however, likely to be covered under the reciprocal health agreements between member countries of the EU which is why we advise that all members of a school group should apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) see also Before the Trip

You must tell your Group Leader, ROCKLEY ADVENTURE and your insurer if your child's health or medication changes before the departure date of the trip.  You must also notify your insurer if the Insured-Person has a close relative whose health may make it necessary to cancel or cut short the trip.

For queries regarding the extent of cover of the inclusive Travel Insurance policy please call the Fogg Travel Insurance Services Referral Helpline quoting ROCKLEY WATERSPORTS & ROCKLEY ADVENTURE on 0845 1300 198.

It is your responsibility to provide your child’s Group Leader and Rockley Adventure with full medical information regarding your child in order for full insurance cover to be provided.

Allergies and Asthma

Allergies and asthams are covered by the travel insurance policy unless any of the exclusions listed in the Travel Insurance policy apply to your child.
