AzuRivage
“In addition to the full multi-activity programme offered at AzuRivage we are excited to be able to offer pupils the opportunity to surf and bodyboard at some of Europe’s world class beaches.
Hossegor - just 20 minutes away - is not only a mecca for the pro surfers but also offers suitable conditions for beginners. Pupils and teachers alike really love the laid-back chic surf culture!”

Surf, Rest and Play
AzuRivage is located on the outskirts of the small Landaise village of Azur on the shores of Lac Soustons. This is the southern most of the watersports centres we operate in southwest France, just a few miles from the pretty town of Soustons.
This three star campsite boasts a unique French ambience, set in a beautiful wooded area just metres from the water's edge. Facilities at this campsite include on-site supermarket, outdoor swimming pool, table tennis, basketball court and a small al-fresco bar.
The lake, is slightly smaller than those further north yet still offers a large operational area for our watersports activities. The majority of our watersports equipment is stored in a private port area that gives easy and safe access to and from the lake for activity sessions.
In addition to our highly successful multi-activity programme, sailing and surfing courses can also be run here. The local Atlantic beaches are renowned worldwide as providing the best surf conditions anywhere in Europe. So where better to experience a taste of this exciting sport than under the watchful eye of a Rockley Instructor at one of the local beach breaks?
Whether or not you choose to take a surfing course, the local surf culture can be experienced on either an evening or a day trip to the local towns of Hossegor and Biarritz, which are both host to the many world class, professional surf competitions throughout the season.
