Hotel Aravis opened its doors as a Rockley Adventure centre for the first time in 2006, bringing with it a host of new activity options.
Located in the breathtaking Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps, this centre offers a diverse programme of mountain and lake-based activities.
Hotel Aravis is a large 19-room chalet style property in the centre of St Jean de Sixt, a small alpine village near to the popular ski resort of La Clusaz. All rooms are en-suite and sleep between two and four people in either single or bunk beds. In addition, all the rooms have en-suite facilities. On the ground floor, the hotel has large dining and relaxation areas, a TV room and gym, amongst its facilities, making this possibly the most luxurious accommodation available to school groups anywhere in the Alps.
Some activities start from and return to the front door of the hotel, whereas others require the use of local coach transfers to and from the activity location.
The activity programme operated from Aravis is highly flexible and can be tailored to suit the aims of almost any group from secondary school students to corporate groups.
